BOOKING AGREEMENT
COMEDY PERFORMANCE AGREEMENT
This Comedy Performance Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into on _____________________, by and between:

Trent Wilson
Professional Comedian
(“Performer”)
and
Client/Promoter:

1. Performance
Purchaser agrees to engage Performer, Trent Wilson, to provide live stand-up comedy entertainment.

2. Compensation
Performance Fee: $_____________
A non-refundable deposit of 50% is due upon signing this Agreement to secure the date.
The remaining balance is due no later than immediately before the performance unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Accepted payment methods include Cash, Cash App, Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, certified check, or other mutually agreed method.
3. Cancellation Policy
If Purchaser cancels:
More than 30 days before the event, the deposit is forfeited.
Within 30 days of the event, 100% of the performance fee is due.
If Performer must cancel because of illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond reasonable control, all deposits will be refunded unless both parties agree to reschedule.
4. Venue Requirements
Purchaser agrees to provide:
A safe performance environment.
Working microphone and sound system.
Adequate stage lighting.
Reasonable audience seating.
Access to the venue at least 30 minutes before showtime.
5. Audience Conduct
Purchaser agrees to make reasonable efforts to minimize excessive disruptions. Performer reserves the right to end the performance if audience behavior creates an unsafe or impossible working environment.
6. Recording
No audio or video recording of the performance for commercial use is permitted without the written consent of Performer.
Purchaser may use approved promotional photographs or short clips only with Performer’s prior permission.
7. Travel
If the performance is outside the local service area, Purchaser agrees to reimburse any agreed travel, lodging, parking, tolls, or airfare expenses.
8. Independent Contractor
Performer is engaged as an independent contractor and is solely responsible for all applicable taxes, licenses, and insurance.
9. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform because of acts of God, severe weather, government restrictions, public emergencies, labor disputes, or other events beyond reasonable control.
10. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.
11. Entire Agreement
This Agreement represents the complete understanding between the parties and supersedes all prior verbal or written agreements. Any amendments must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
